ABOUT THE CHEF

Sous Chef Daniel Chen's culinary journey began in his mother's restaurant in Yilan, a northeast county in Taiwan. Now hailing from W Taipei's kitchen, Chef Daniel has selected the most popular Taiwanese delicacies, as well as some local dishes from his hometown, and is excited to bring his creations to Singapore. Some notable dishes from his lovely hometown are the Yilan-style Pork Intestine and Garlic Stew, and the Crispy Stuffed Pork Drumstick. Another dish that also has a mystical Chinese name - Dragon Phoenix Leg - was created initially using minced pork in lieu of the chicken thigh when chicken was deemed too expensive for most people.
